According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visas on arrival will be granted in the UAE to people from 82 countries around the world. At the same time, the authorities clarified that those from GCC countries can enter the UAE using their passport or ID card and do not need a visa or sponsorship.
Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Bahamas, Netherlands, UK, US, Ukraine, Uruguay, On-arrival visa is granted to 82 countries including the Vatican.
Those from these countries will get visa on arrival. They will get either a 30-day entry visa or a 90-day arrival visa. The 30 day entry visa can be extended for 10 days if required. Indian passport holders will get a 14-day entry visa upon entering the UAE. Also, one can apply for visa extension for another 14 days. However, the passenger’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
Meanwhile, according to the latest information on the ministry’s official website, citizens from 115 countries require a visa to enter the UAE. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised those interested in visiting the UAE to check the latest visa updates on the country’s official website. Alternatively, airlines can be contacted for the latest visa information.
