In the midst of a dire humanitarian crisis, Israel conducted another airstrike on the Rafah crossing, a lifeline for Palestinians in Gaza, despite international efforts to allow urgent aid entry. The crossing, not under Israeli control, was targeted repeatedly. The 11-day Israeli onslaught has left over 2,808 Palestinians dead, including 1,000 children, and more than 11,000 injured. The densely populated area endured around 6,000 bombs, equivalent to a quarter of a nuclear explosion, according to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
