Qatar has two teams competing in beach volleyball. The Qatar (1) team, featuring Ahmed Tijan and Sherif Younis, is in a group with Indonesia (2) and the Philippines (2). The Qatar (1) team will play Indonesia and the Philippines, while the Qatar (2) team will face Iran and Macau. The Qatar (2) team is currently third in the world rankings with 6,580 points.
