Qatar’s healthcare sector has experienced significant growth over the past decade, with the workforce doubling in size to 46,000, compared to 20,000 health workers in 2011. This expansion has been achieved through efforts by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and healthcare institutions. Medical Director of Hamad General Hospital, Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani, highlighted the development in medical science and healthcare infrastructure. Rigorous training programs and the opening of new hospitals have contributed to Qatar’s remarkable progress in healthcare.
